A lecture on the topic How to find talents – innovative tactics in the recruitment process was delivered by Katerina Kurteva, Campus Recruitment Associate Manager at Sutherland, at the University of National and World Economy (UNWE) in Sofia. The lecture was attended by third-year students majoring in Defense and Security Economics, as part of their classes in Security and Defense Management. The event was organized with the support of Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov, Head of the department of National and Regional Security, Dean of the Faculty of Economics of Infrastructure and coordinator of the partnership between UNWE and Sutherland.
In her presentation Katerina introduced the students to the recruitment process in Sutherland. She addressed themes including types of interviews and the specifics of their conduct and demonstrated specific techniques applied in the process of selecting candidates.
In the Q&A session following the lecture the students asked many questions including: what are the characteristics that a job applicants should possess, difficulties in starting a new job, retaining qualified staff, CV format of candidates, etc. To all of them Katerina responded thoroughly, based on her experience as HR specialist in several international companies.
